Last month featured a very successful National Week Without Driving, where elected public officials and transportation professionals from across the country were successfully recruited to use the transportation system they funded, designed, and built for us. The purpose of this effort was to get them to focus more on centering people (as opposed to cars) when designing the transportation system.
Check out a blog post from America Walks that recaps the week and highlights what elected officials from all over the country experienced. |
