BDA to host City Council Candidates Forum

This odd-numbered year brings another City Council election to Bellevue, and four of seven seats are on the November 6 ballot.  As Downtown Bellevue experiences this tremendous growth spurt, who stands out as the best choice to lead at a time of great change?

The BDA has worked closely with the Council over the past four decades to shape and nurture a vision for a strong, viable downtown that benefits the entire city.  From budget priorities to land use codes, the Council will have a significant say in the continued success of Downtown Bellevue.

Register now for the BDA City Council Candidates Forum on Friday, October 26, at Meydenbauer Center.  Craig Groshart, editor of the Bellevue Reporter, will moderate the discussion.  All four incumbents are running for re-election.

  • Pos. 1: Mayor Grant Degginger and John Albertson
  • Pos. 3: Deputy Mayor John Chelminiak and Valentina Kiselev
  • Pos. 5: Councilmember Claudia Balducci (unopposed)
  • Pos. 7: Councilmember Phil Noble and Keri Andrews
