IBT's Dracula returns to Meydenbauer Theatre

Jennifer Fischer, Marketing & Sponsorship Manager

The International Ballet Theatre (IBT) will again present Dracula - the only West Coast production of the classic love story - at Meydenbauer Theater October 26-31.

This year all new costumes custom made for IBT in Russia, new music compositions, and an entire troupe of Irish cloggers tapping on coffins will enliven the original work artistically based on Bram Stoker’s original gothic masterpiece.  A humongous, growling gargoyle (8’ tall, 12’ wingspan), with moving wings and a shroud of fog, will guard the entrance to Meydenbauer Theatre during October.

IBT, a BDA member, will transform Meydenbauer Center into Castle Dracula for its gala, “Twilight in Transylvania”, on Sunday, October 28th.  The evening will begin with a private performance of Dracula and then continue with Transylvania Twist cocktails served in glowing red martini glasses, and a very unusual silent and live auction.  Tickets are $175 per person or $1,750 for a table of ten.  Tickets can be reserved by calling 425-284-0444.

Tickets for Dracula are on sale now by calling 425-284-0444 or 206-325-6500 or www.TicketWindowOnline.com.  Tickets are:  $45 – Adult, $35 for Senior/Student, and $20 – child (12 & under).
